국문초록

본고는 우리 시대의 한국어문학을 새로운 안목으로 탐구하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 어문학에 대한 문화론적 입장에 정초한 문화어문학적 연구방법론을 제기한다. 이는 급변하는 시대를 자각하면서, 어문학이라는 학문장(學問場)을 기반으로 하되 이를 훨씬 뛰어넘고, 하나의 특정 지역에 기반하고 있지만 세계적 시각을 확보하기 위함이다. 그리고 문화어문학은 분과학문의 전문성을 고려하면서도 간학제적(間學制的) 역량을 최대한 발휘하여 높은 단계의 회통적 질서를 추구하며, 디지털 기술을 활용하고 있지만 인문정신의 고양을 최종 목표로 삼는다. 현재 우리는 산업 구조의 다변화에 대응하기 위해 문화자원으로서의 어문학 연구가 절실히 요청되는 시대에 살고 있다. 신민족주의에 입각한 극근대(克近代)를 위한 문화어문학은, 바로 이러한 시대를 견인할 수 있도록 설계된 것이다. 따라서 전통 어문학 연구를 기반으로 하되 한국어문학을 하나의 문화자원으로 인식하면서, 자연언어 처리 기술의 개발과 함께 한국문학 자원의 아카이브 구축을 통해 글로벌 시대의 지역 문화어문학의 연구역량을 제고할 수 있어야 한다. 이로써 한국어문학은 대중 속에 살아 있는 새로운 길을 열 수 있기 때문이다.

Abstract

This study was planned to investigate Korean language and literature of our times in a new viewpoint. For this purpose, the study proposed a methodology of cultural language and literature based on the cultural theory position for language and literature. This approach is based on the academic field of language and literature and, at the same time, covers much more than it. It also secures a global viewpoint based on a certain area. Cultural language and literature takes into consideration the professionalism of an academic discipline and is in pursuit of a higher level of cosmopolitan order by exerting its interdisciplinary competence as much as possible. While making use of digital technologies, it sets a final goal of elevating the humanistic spirit. Today we are living in an era when there is an urgent need for the study of language and literature as a cultural resource to cope with multiple changes to the industrial structure. Cultural language and literature to overcome the modern times based on neo-nationalism has been designed to drive this era forward. It is important to recognize Korean language and literature as a cultural resource based on the traditional study of language and literature and improve the research capabilities of local cultural language and literature in the global age by developing a technology to process natural language and building an archive of Korean literary resources. These efforts will help to open a new road for Korean language and literature to live and breathe in the public.
