국문초록

이 연구는 현재 경북대학교 인문학술원 HK+ 사업의 일환으로 진행 중인 동아시아 목간사전 DB 구축 현황과 쟁점에 대해 논의하는 것이 목적이다. 동아시아 목간사전 DB는 한국, 중국, 일본 등 동아시아 3국의 목간 텍스트에 포함된 고대 한자 어휘를 대상으로 한 역사 어휘 사전 구축을 위해 제작된다. 또한 동아시아 목간사전 DB는 역사 연구에서 참조 자료로 사용되는 것을 목적으로 한다는 측면에서 백과사전적 특성을 고려해야 한다. 우리는 세 나라의 어휘 및 문자 자원을 아우르는 비교 연구의 기반자료로서의 DB 구축을 위해 사전 편찬 지침과 온라인 플랫폼 편찬 도구를 구성한다. 이 연구는 지금까지의 연구 과정을 소개하기 위한 것으로, 다음과 같이 구성되어 있다. 2장에서는 목간 사전 편찬 과정과 방법론을 다룬다. 이를 위해 2.1에서는 사전의 사전적 특성과 편찬의 일부 문제를 논의하고 2.2에서는 동아시아 목판 사전 프로젝트의 전반적인 개요를 제시한다. 3장에서는 사전의 거시구조와 미세구조를 고려한 사전 속성 측면의 쟁점을 논의하며, 4장에서는 동아시아 목간 사전 DB의 공시적 역사 어휘 사전, 다국어 어휘 사전으로서의 특성을 반영한 사전 DB 구축을 위한 플랫폼의 실제를 제안한다.

The Construction of the East Asian Wooden Tablet Database 

: Current Status and Issue

Abstract

This study discusses the current status and issues regarding the construction of the East Asian Wooden Tablet Database, which is currently being carried out as part of the HK+ project of the Institute of Humanities Studies at Kyungpook National University. The database is to serve as a basis for a historical dictionary that provides linguistic information on the ancient Chinese characters written on wooden tablets excavated across East Asia. Since the database is also to be used as reference material for historical research, its design also considers encyclopedic characteristics. As we have established the standard editing guidelines and built the online editing tool to cover the comparative research across the three countries’ resources, this paper introduces the research process as follows. Section 2 deals with the process and methodology of the compilation of the Wooden Tablet Dictionary. To this end, 2.1 presents its lexicographical characteristics and discusses some issues related to its compilation; 2.2 provides an overview of the East Asian Wooden Tablet Dictionary Project. Section 3 discusses the development of the dictionary editing platform considering the macro-structure and micro-structure of the dictionary and Section 4 focuses on the actual lexicographical description of ancient Korean, Chinese, and Japanese characters as lexical items from the wooden tablets.
